Reba McEntire was born on March 28, 1955. She is an American singer, songwriter, actress, and record producer. When she was studying as a high school student, she started her career in the music industry and start singing in the Kiowa High School band on local radio shows with her siblings. She also sing the national anthem at the National Rodeo in Oklahoma City and she became popular over the city.

Reba made her singing debut with a solo of “Away in a Manger” in a school Christmas play. She studied elementary education and minored in music at Southeastern Oklahoma State University. In 1976, she got married with Charlie Battles in the year 1976. After two years, she married Narvel Blackstock, with whom she had a son named Shelby in 1990. She got divorce in 2015.
